Brooklyn-based couple Taylor Tankson and Kareem Wallace, co-founders of lifestyle brand Tribe & Oak, honored their local roots by celebrating their wedding with only local vendors and businesses. The couple, who met in 2018 and started their business in 2021, chose vendors such as Taste of Heaven for food, Brooklyn Tea for drinks, and Mia’s Brooklyn Bakery for the cake. Their wedding reflected their commitment to supporting the Brooklyn community, with all vendors being Black- or family-owned. The wedding took place at Bathaus, a woman-owned venue.
