Lovina’s friend Ruth helped with wedding preparations for Benjamin and Joanna’s Amish wedding. The couple chose to simplify the wedding by serving only one meal, a noon meal for about 400 guests, at the CYC, an Amish youth center. Ruth and others helped transport and set up supplies, including large kettles, food, decorations, and table settings. Over 400 wedding cupcakes were baked by Benjamin’s sisters and Joanna’s parents.
