Chicago has been named the Best Big City in the U.S. for 10 consecutive years. In 2027, the city will see various new developments, including renovations and expansions of existing venues, hotel openings, and new attractions. The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry is set to reimagine its south entrance experience, and the Shedd Aquarium will modernize its experience and enhance animal care with a new Changing Oceans exhibit. The 360 CHICAGO observation deck is also undergoing an expansion to create a new multi-story event space.
