A couple’s island wedding was saved by the community’s generosity and quick thinking. Brenna and Theo Korenowski had planned to wed on September 27, but a nor’easter forced them to adapt. With the original venue, Parker’s Garage, unable to accommodate them, the couple held an impromptu ceremony at the Sea Shell in Beach Haven, where they were able to set up with the help of the venue’s staff and guests. Despite the challenges, the wedding was a success, with many guests praising the food, atmosphere, and resilience of the community.
