Jennifer Teresa Villanueva is a photographer who has been capturing intimate moments of her family’s life over the years. She began with a large-format camera, but later switched to a Mamiya RB67 and eventually to digital photography. Villanueva’s goal is to preserve the tender, ordinary moments of her family’s life, as well as the ways they have learned to care for and survive together. Her photographs aim to pay homage to the family’s experiences, both the joys and the hardships.
