Lillian and Wayne Deakin, from Keighley, have celebrated their 50-year marriage. The couple, both volunteers at Bradford Royal Infirmary, met as teenagers at Lillian’s local church. They were married in 1976 and have been together ever since, even after retiring from their respective careers. Lillian and Wayne support patients in different wards at the hospital as part of the Spiritual, Pastoral and Religious Care team.
