Dozens of couples exchanged vows at San Diego County’s annual Halloweddings event, a Halloween-themed celebration of marriage. Couples were able to obtain walk-in marriage licenses and hold civil wedding ceremonies without an appointment at the County Administration Center. The Assessor/Recorder/County Clerk’s Office issues around 25,000 marriage licenses and performs over 11,000 civil marriage ceremonies each year. The office’s waterfront location regularly hosts themed ceremonies, including this one.
